Who grew it

It isn't one farm. It's twenty-five. Each family in the Santa Marta lot grows about ten sacks of green coffee a year. All twenty-five put theirs together to create this coffee. There's no star farm behind it. There's a community.
The coffee reaches us through our partner Arango Specialty Coffee. We don't buy it straight from the farm, but we know who grew it, and we pass that on to you.
Grind
We grind the moment we pack. Coarse for French press, medium for pour-over, extra fine for espresso. If you're not going to use it within a few days, order it whole bean — it keeps much better.
Freshness
We roast weekly. Every bag is packed and shipped within 48 hours of the roast, and orders placed through Saturday go out on that week's roast. You don't have to take our word for it — the roast date is printed on every bag.
Shipping and returns
Orders over $50 ship free within the continental United States. Below that, we work it out at checkout from your address and charge it at cost — we don't mark up shipping.
